1)      Clinical Work

Work involves clinical decision making in obstetric ward, labour suite, performing gynaecological surgeries, conducting antenatal clinics, gynaecology clinic with subfertility and family planning and being On call.

2)      Teaching activities

As a Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, I am involved in student teaching in the ward and giving lectures and tutorials, involved in student assessment and question setting and correcting answers. Post graduate Teaching and Journal Clubs.

I was involved in conducting lectures in Obstetrics to Nurses undergoing post basic training in midwifery in the National Training School in Kandana Sri Lanka.
